Aware of the great help that Lito Cacal as the bookkeeper and Remy Alberto the treasurer of ECBA would benefit from, Dr. Nati Pagadut, the Executive Secretary sent them to attend the said seminar-workshop This is a much needed training to update themselves and gain more knowledge in order to be more efficient in their work.
The seminar dealt with some of the basics in accounting and bookkeeping, terms used, how to do the general journal entry ledger posting, trial balance, cash flow, computation of taxes for BIR and VAT. The seminar allowed the participants during the workshops were given the chance to do the computations and was clarified on the functions of accountants, auditors and bookkeepers.
