The Episcopal Commission on Biblical Apostolate (ECBA) held a seminar-workshop on Verbum Domini for Campus Ministers, Rel-ed teachers and professors, Catechists and Christian Living instructors at the Philippine Bible Society, United Nations Avenue, Manila last November 3 - 4. Aside from input there is open forum and workshop for creative application of the input for the respective schools and places of work of the participants.This is our way of reaching out to our schools to help in the biblical apostolate.
We sincerely thank our dear bishops, Most Rev. Pablo Virgilio S. David, DD, Most Rev. Broderick Pabillo, DD and Most Rev. Renato P. Mayugba, DD for sharing their most precious time and talent to further enlighten us with the Holy Father’s post-synodal Apostolic Exhortation “Verbum Domini”;
We are also deeply grateful to the Philippine Bible Society through its hardworking and God centered General Secretary, Ms Nora Lucero, for hosting us in the PBS seminar room and for the various forms of assistance she and her staff afforded to us;
The members of Bibliodrama Philippines who unselfishly and freely offered their services to help make this seminar-workshop a reality are acknowledged with joyful appreciation;
To all of you, lovers of the Word, we thank you for responding to our invitation. “May every day of our lives be shaped by a renewed encounter with Christ, the Word of the Father made flesh…“ (VD no. 124).
